Casarecce Chicken Noodle Soup



  • Chicken stock

  • Meat from one chicken

  • Four celery stalks

  • Four carrots

  • One onion

  • Four garlic cloves

  • Two tablespoons chopped fresh thyme

  • One pound (two containers) Tamboli Produce Casarecce pasta

  • Black pepper

  • Fresh Parmesan


  • Slow cooker

  • Mandolin or good sharp knife

  • Ladle


  • Make chicken stock

  • Shred cooked chicken by hand

  • Thinly slice or mandolin celery, carrots, onion and garlic

  • Add chicken & veg to slow cooker and simmer on medium/low for 1-2 hours

  • Add pasta, thyme, and black pepper to slow cooker. Simmer for about 15 minutes

  • Plate, top with Parmesan, enjoy
